Hey! Join J2 and I as we recap his latest (and maybe last) marathon. J2 ran the Rocket City marathon a couple of weeks ago and we go on a run and replay the miles.
Daily Mile profile is on Colin Hayes.. Colin is the writer, producer and performer of the EMC theme song and many parody songs (include in this epi is the classic "Toenails Turning Black"). He has been sidelined for several weeks due to various injuries, but he is coming back strong. Colin is a super guy and lives by the phrase.. "don't take yourself or really anything to serious".. as you can see by this video
>> http://youtu.be/y0F081lsXlY
I included a song in this Epi by Eddie "Kookie" Byrnes called "Yulesville".. for all you hip cats out there..

Hey Join me today as I for a short run through some hills in my neighborhood. Just talked about whatever was in my head... Also I have some Promos that have been passed my way that I added. One is a promotion of a new Kindle book published by Chris Russell of the runrunlive podcast. If you listen to Chris on his podcast you can't help but hear his voice as you read this book. In addition you will hear of a new project called Run World Radio. This is a new magazine show in which 3 runners from 3 different continents catch up to talk about their running across their contrasting terrain and seasons. There will be documentary segments from our various events as well as news from the stranger side of running. We will have runcasts, thought provoking opinions, plus the very best podsafe music around.
Also I included a short profile of one of my DailyMile friends, Dominic A. Dom is a great guy and one that I can always count on for encouragement.

Whew! Yeah. Its been awhile since the last podcast. Well, join J2 and I as we run a long HOT Saturday run. It was supposed to be 13 miles as we traced the route of the Montgomery Half Marathon.. However, I had some challenges with the heat and we decided to cut it a little short at 11 miles. We tried to get you caught up on our life events since we last recorded.
Highlights include a couple of book reviews and the demise of my "Kinvara experiment" .. which ended in a case of Plantar fasciitis.
Our music today is provided by master of the parody songs Colin Hayes.. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1042523&songID=9896191

I will be including them in some of my upcoming podcast.. there's one for every occasion! If you have a podcast and are interested in having them on your podcast, they are available on his blog!

Hey, In this podcast the Elites of Prattville (EoP) aka J2, Keith Kym and Ted go for a group run. Started out as 5 runners and ended up with 2 as others had previous engagements and rehab limits. J2 and I start off running downtown and then head out to the city limits to continue our long run... During this run I talk about all things eBay (requested by Jason G on Daily Mile).. A to Z about what I know and why I use it to find and buy running gear and other stuff. And during part of this run we look for a place to... Well, you'll just have to listen....
Great parody song by Colin H. www.resurrectedrunner.blogspot.com ... you'll find it appropriate...
